Because many people of retirement age will require extensive health care in their golden years, Spain is a great choice for its hospitals and well-trained hospital staff. Although the type and amount of coverage varies from hospital to hospital in Spain, choosing a retirement property close to a highly regarded hospital means that retirees have access to health care that is as good or maybe even better than what was available in their hoe country.
All in all, retirement in Spain is an extremely attractive option for many foreign seniors who want to escape the rat race and bad weather of their home countries.
